Ebonyi State has officially launched commercial flight operations at the Chuba Okadigbo International Airport in Onueke! This marks a major milestone in the state's journey toward greater connectivity and economic growth.
The airport, strategically located along the Abakaliki–Afikpo Expressway, will serve Ebonyi and neighboring states like Abia, Benue, and parts of Cross River. With its strong 4km runway and modern facilities, it’s set to attract tourism, investment, and ease travel across the Southeast.
Air Peace led the way with inaugural flights from Lagos and Abuja, and more airlines are expected to follow as full commercial operations ramp up from June 13 2025.
